How to hire a Bellydancer in Brisbane
We’re all familiar with that creeping sense of dread that builds as that super special event approaches and we've failed to book the entertainment! I've been there before. At home, in bed, frantically scrolling for some kind of entertainment that's unforgettable, beautiful AND available for that weekend coming up. Overcome with guilt, in the back of your head you've given up and about to admit defeat but you know in your heart that you've got to come through with the goods to make this night a goodie. I'm here to tell you it's easier than you might expect!
To give you a helping hand, we’ve compiled our top tips on how to hire a Bellydancer in Brisbane!
Search on Google
Google is one of the best resources for finding any new information, plus its the biggest search engine in the world! Search Bellydancer for hire in Brisbane and see what pops up. Google orders the search results based on accuracy of information on a website. Whoever is on the first page is likely a great choice!
Check their reviews
Great Bellydancers in Brisbane will have reviews somewhere on their website or google listing. Take the time to read them and discover which one you enjoy the vibe of the most. Some dancers are better on stage than in a restaurant or at a private party. Become an investigator and check out what these reviews really say.
Check their photos
You should be able to see what kind of props they like to incorporate into their shows. amazing Brisbane Bellydancers who use swords, veils, sticks and fire are usually seasoned professionals who have studied for years. Photos with these are good indicators of a great entertainer.
Don't be shy to ring directly!
Booking forms are fantastic, but don't be prudent in ringing a Brissy Bellydancer directly if she has her phone number available. Bellydancers are often busy women, please leave a message when you ring, I'm sure that she will contact you back the second she finishes her last show!
Pay upfront and sign a contract if requested
Bellydancers are in hot demand. They need you to be fully committed to hiring otherwise she won't be interested as there is always another gig to rush off to.
How much is too much?
My best advice if you want a good show is not to hire a Bellydancer who is happy to charge under $250 for a private show. I'd bet my last dollar that these won't be seasoned professionals who can actually entertain a crowd. For a quality show at your private event in Brisbane, expect to pay upwards from $350 to hire a Bellydancer for a standard show.
